| Michael Kevin Daly was born and raised in NYC where his musical journey began. At 18, he head west to LA, where he discovered his life long passion for songwriting. In the tradition of those who came before, he took off for London, Amsterdam, Paris with suitcase & guitar, and then returned to LA with a pocket full of songs to tell the story, and sign a recording and publishing contract with record producer Jackie Mills. Then it was in and out of bands, a shot at film acting, and eventually discovering photography, which took him on a successful career path. But there was always the music, and after 10 years as a member of the celtic band Skye, he embarked on a solo career and returned to songwriting. Since 2003, he has produced and recorded 3 solo CDs; His latest release "Boundless" in May 2011. Michael performs with the band Dreamdog, as well as solo. Recordings available at cdbaby.com |
